Don't Set Out to Make Money
It's very easy to get lost in day dreams of fancy cars, big houses, exotic places, and expensive things.
How many of you think about products you can sell or services you can offer that will make a lot of money? Why not? If you can sell something or provide something that makes you a lot of money then it's got to be worth doing.
Making money should be your end goal and not the first goal you seek. If you set out to make money first you will fail. The reason making money should be your end goal and not your top priority is because you want to focus on creating a valuable product first.
Unless you're in what I call the "money making business", i.e. Banks, stock broker or hedge fund, venture capitalists.
Example, different rounds of raising funds. Instead of taking what you make your money is reinvested to grow and make improvements to your product and make more money.
Don't set out to make money. Set out to make a product!
